What makes aBetterFilm.com different?

-- #1 - Personal Attention
YOUR goals get clarified, and YOUR progress gets measured in ways that matter to YOU. All with help from a patient, attentive, passionate filmmaking mentor.

-- # 2 - Dynamic Group Support
This isn’t your typical film program. And the mavericks drawn to this online film school have a special drive to both follow their own paths and boldly support their peers.

Who is it for?

It’s for YOU, if you answer yes to any of the following questions:

- Have you ever wanted to write and/or direct?

- Have you taken classes & seminars elsewhere and want to bring your game to the next level?

- Have you been active in another position of the industry (acting, producing, editing, writing, etc.) and want to cross-over to directing?

So if the answer is “yes,” to any of these questions, join the Free Master Class now!

How does it work?

Find the program that fits for you and follow those application steps. If you're a match for the program, and we have available spots left, you're in. Being an online film school, all the courses are conducted through conference calls, private web cam connections, and e-mails. Work is uploaded to the web on your own site, or your own web community profile, or on the E-Group Site. People watch your movies (or read your script) and give feedback during our conference calls. The entire program is as close as your computer.

When are the next starting dates?

This is a 100% on-demand, online film school. So check the specific program to see if there is a new class slated. If not, reach out and I'll see if I can build one around your experience level and desired dates.

Can you help me find an internship/entry level job?

Yes! I'd love to get you working. I'll post open jobs to the Master Class E-Group as I come across them. And if you want in-depth strategy on how to maxmize your chances of landing gigs, reach out to me through my Consultation page. I've hired over 200 people in my career, and I'm happy to share the secrets of how to stand out from the super-competitive crowd.

What will I need?

- High speed access to the web (DSL, cable or equivalent)
- (for filmmakers) The ingenuity to get your hands on a camera and editing software
- A free Skype account and a computer microphone
- The ambition to move forward to your next career level, no matter what
- And good team player skills
